Lindos Bay

Come to the beautiful Erato Apartments, ideally situated to enjoy the fascinating Lindos village.

Lindos is located at the south-eastern coast of the island, an excellent starting point to explore the many delights of the ‘’island of the sun’’.

Lindos has got a main beach called Palestra and a smaller, cozy one, at the other side of the village, St. Paul’s Bay. That was the place where St. Paul first set foot on the island.

Exploring the village you can come across an exciting mixture of  tavernas, galleries and shops offering samples of local handicraft.

Due to the narrow winding streets cars are not allowed in the centre of Lindos.

The parking area is at the rear of the village, 150 m. from Erato Apartments.

In case you want to enjoy the breathtaking view from the Acropolis why not take advantage of the local mode of transport, the ‘’lindian taxi’’- the donkey!

These lovely animals will carry you from the main square right up to the Acropolis for a modest fee and a carrot or two!
